WriteGentle Privacy

Professional writing help with clear privacy boundaries.

WriteGentle is an AI-assisted communication tool that helps users draft, rewrite, and improve written messages. It uses account, settings, profile, template, subscription, and limited technical data to provide the service, enforce limits, process access, and keep the app reliable.

WriteGentle is not an anonymous app, but it is designed to avoid unnecessary content storage. Response history is off by default for new accounts, original input text is not stored by default, and routine server logs must not contain the raw text you write or the messages generated for you.

What WriteGentle may use

Only the data needed to operate the writing workflow, account, and subscription features.

Account data

Email address, internal user identifier, account timestamps, and basic account settings are used to create and manage your account.

Writing inputs

Text you enter and selected options may be processed by the backend and AI providers to generate the result you requested.

Profiles and templates

User-created profiles and templates help WriteGentle understand your role, style, and common communication scenarios.

Settings

Preferences such as privacy settings, selected generation options, and interface choices may be stored to make the app work consistently.

Subscription status

Plan, entitlement, billing, and access information may be used to unlock features, enforce limits, and manage subscription access.

Technical metadata

Limited operational data may be used to secure the service, detect errors, enforce usage limits, and keep the product reliable.

What is not stored by default

Useful writing help should not automatically become permanent content history.

Original input text

Your original input text is not stored by default. It may be stored only if you separately enable storing input text in history.

Generated history entries

Response history is off by default. When history is disabled, generated responses are not saved to your account history.

Internal prompts

The full internal AI prompt and hidden prompt logic are not stored as user-facing content or exposed through the app interface.

Routine content logs

Routine server logs must not contain raw user input text, generated output text, full prompts, or full billing receipts.

AI processing

WriteGentle sends only what is needed to generate the requested message.

When you ask WriteGentle to generate, rewrite, or reply, relevant text and selected parameters may be sent to backend systems and AI service providers as necessary to produce the result. This is how the core feature works.

The product is designed to minimize stored content and avoid unnecessary retention. AI-related processing is meant to serve the specific task you request, not to create a hidden archive of your drafts and messages.

User controls

Users should be able to see and manage what is kept where the app supports it.

History settings

You can enable or disable response history and separately control whether input text is stored with history.

History deletion

Where history is stored, you may delete individual history items or delete all saved history from the app.

Local data

Where supported, you may clear local data on the device without deleting the server-side account.

Account actions

The app may support account email, password, sign-out, and account deletion flows through the authentication system.

Transparency

Privacy-related settings should be described in clear language so users understand what is kept, optional, or needed for the feature.

Privacy summary

WriteGentle uses accounts and cloud AI to provide a practical writing workflow. The privacy goal is not to claim anonymity, but to avoid unnecessary content storage, keep defaults conservative, and make the app’s data behavior understandable.
